Ridge Meadows RCMP said police were called to 21300 block on 124th Avenue around 2 p.m. for shooting reports. Police arrived to find an off-duty Vancouver police officer and an off-duty nurse trying to provide emergency first aid to the victim. The man died on the spot. Police said it was too early to say if the incident was related to the ongoing regional gang clash.
