Police said the collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. at a Rideau Center business. At one point, a 15-year-old stabbed the victim before fleeing on foot. Ottawa rescuers treated the victim, who was taken to the trauma center on the Civic campus of Ottawa Hospital with serious injuries. The victim is in stable condition.
