Teoscar Hernandez and Hyun Jin Ryu have both returned to baseball and could be preparing for a detox mission, according to The Athletic’s Kaitlyn McGrath. Ross Stripling kept the line in Ryu’s place, but the attack could use a jolt of Hernandez’s trademark strength. Yoan Moncada is starting his detox today, according to the lineup card posted by the Charlotte Knights’s Twitter account. An oblique executive has kept Moncada out of the starting line-up for the entire season so far. 26-year-old Jake Burger starts the race in third place with 0.260 / .275 / .420, good for a 105 wRC + despite walking with a clip of just 1.9%.
