Police were called to the scene at gunpoint on 126th Avenue and 152nd Avenue shortly after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived at the scene, police said they located a 34-year-old man who appeared to have life-threatening injuries. “The investigation revealed that the victim witnessed a theft nearby and tried to intervene and stop the two suspects – a man and a woman,” police said in a press release issued on Friday. A police spokesman told Global News that the victim was stabbed during the clash and then the male suspect fled. They did not say whether the woman suspect had fled or was in custody.
