In a Zoom testimony, Malcolm Connolly was asked whether or not it was true that Depp urinated in the foyer of the couple’s home in Australia during a 2015 brawl.
Connolly reduced the courtroom to hysteria when he said: “I think I would have remembered if I had seen Mr. Depp’s penis.”
The alleged urination sparked an altercation between the couple that led Depp to cut off his upper finger.
Depp, 58, is suing Herd, 36, in Fairfax, Virginia for $ 50 million in a 2018 article she wrote about domestic violence for the Washington Post. Although he is not named in the piece, Depp’s lawyers say it is obvious that Herd was referring to him when he spoke about the abuse he suffered.
Herd has sued Depp for $ 100 million, claiming he was behind a concerted effort to oust her from Aquaman and as a L’Oreal spokesman.
Depp could barely control himself as the conversation turned to his penis
The actor fell forward as he appeared to be smiling at his legal team during the testimony of bodyguard Malcolm Connolly
“I think I would have remembered if I had seen Mr Depp’s penis,” Connolly said in the Virginia courtroom from his home in England.
Connolly was asked how Depp and Herd were doing well in the first part of their relationship. The Scottish security man described the couple as “beloved pigeons” and Herd as “wonderful, charming”.
Although Connolly said things started to change over time as Heard started wearing the pants in the relationship as he put it.
When asked about the couple’s infamous trip to Australia in 2015, when Depp’s finger was cut off, Connolly said when he met their argument that it was “chaos”.
Herd screamed at Depp, calling him a “coward,” while star Edward Scissorhands sucked on his finger, according to Connolly.
One person in the courtroom who did not laugh when Connolly testified about Depp’s penis was Amber Heard
Herd’s lawyer said Depp was trying to urinate in the foyer of their Australian home, saying the actor “pulled out his penis” in the middle of an argument.
Connolly replied, “I think I would have remembered if I had seen Mr. Depp’s penis.”
This caused laughter from almost everyone in the courtroom, although Herd remained stoic throughout.
A recording was played on the pitch around the time Depp was heard saying that Herd “made him sick.”
Heard remained stoic as the fight in Australia was discussed in 2015. Earlier, Heard described the incident as “the worst thing I have ever experienced”.
The alleged urination was also reported in 2020 during Depp’s defamation lawsuit against The Sun in London.
During this hearing, Herd claimed that in 2015, Depp was relieved inside their home in Australia.
Herd said in 2020 that Depp “was trying to write my name by peeing on the walls and carpet walking inside the house.”
Heard described her time with Depp in Australia as “the worst thing I have ever experienced”.
Malcolm Connolly, who appears here, is a former bodyguard who served as a bodyguard for Depp and his family. Connolly said he lied in the past about the finger-cutting incident in order to protect Heard
In his 2020 lawsuit, Connolly said he heard Depp shout, “Look at my finger! He cut my finger! “He broke my hand with a bottle of vodka.”
At the time, Connolly said he lied about how Depp wounded his finger to protect Heard.
Connolly, a former jailer, said from his home in England in April 2022 that he saw Herd throw a lighter and a can of soft drinks at Depp during the couple’s troubled relationship. In addition, Connolly said he noticed scratches on Depp’s face.
The Black Mass star “was not happy” during the couple’s honeymoon, according to Connolly.
Connolly joked when he noticed a swelling under Depp’s eye during his honeymoon, “He’s got in a door or a door went in.”
Connolly said his training in the British prison service allowed him to notice signs of abuse. Connolly said he noticed scratches and swelling on Depp’s face during his relationship with Herd.
