Police said they responded to the incident at the facility on April 8 following a call for disagreement.
A man appeared in the living room and allegedly asked for free sexual services. After the operation was denied, the man allegedly said he was an undercover detective.
He was arrested and police later confirmed that the man was not involved in law enforcement.
The suspect, Jenisan Jeyakumar from Markham, was charged with impersonating a peace officer and obtaining sexual services for examination.
Police released his photo on Friday “to ensure there were no other similar incidents”.
