The attack took place around 21:30 in the area of 126th Street and 152nd Avenue and a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“The victim witnessed a theft nearby and tried to intervene and stop the two suspects, a man and a woman. The male suspect allegedly stabbed the victim and fled the scene,” the sergeant said. Dan Tames wrote in a press release.
The victim is said to be in stable condition on Friday and police released images of a suspect.
