Police were called in with a report of concern for the well-being of a man on Chassen Road in Flixton around 1.15am. on Wednesday (April 27). The man was found with serious injuries “in the middle of the road”.
An investigation is under way into how he suffered his injuries, but police say it is not yet clear how the incident happened. Officers said the man remained in hospital and appealed to witnesses to provide information. We wish him well. Extensive investigations are under way, but it is not yet clear how he sustained his injuries. “I would like to appeal to anyone who has information, especially who was on Chassen Street near the train station between 12.30 and 1.15 am.” Police cordoned off Chassen Street between Balmoral Street and Shawe Street after the incident, and conducted a search, and the nearby Chassen Road Railway Station was also closed.
