The attack took place near the Bow Tower on March 29. Around 11 p.m., a security guard found the victim after he was thrown to the ground and kicked by two men in an unprovoked attack. The man was injured and needed medical help after receiving kicks to the ribs and face. Police have charged Corbin Maverick Riley, 21, and John Segovia Calderon, 21, with a charge of aggravated assault. “Every Calgary resident has the right to feel safe in our city and violence against vulnerable members of our city will not be tolerated,” the Calgary Police Department said in a statement on Thursday.
