PC Ireland Murdock, who is attached to the Central Command Unit of the North, was arrested on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The offense allegedly occurred while the officer was off duty at Lambeth on Saturday 25 September 2021. He has been suspended from his duties and the alleged victim is being supported by special officers. He will appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court later today. The Met Professional Standards Directorate was informed, as was the Independent Police Conduct Office.
