Singer Tom has died at the age of 33 after battling brain cancer after being diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in October 2020 and being given just 12 months by doctors.
He died while surrounded by family and colleagues on the band as he listened to the Oasis Live Forever song, with Kelsey telling the Sun on Sunday that he was the last person next to him: “It was just us and there was so much love in it. room.’

The boyband star spent his last days at St Christopher’s Hospice in south London and Kelsey was by his side all along.

He said of the time before he died: “I went to bed with him. We were in bed together for two hours, I just wanted that time with him. I did not want anyone to enter. “We needed this time together to talk.”
Kelsey insisted that even the days at the hostel with Tom were “romantic”, adding that he “absolutely loved the land I was walking on”.
He said he was “still trying to find a way out” of his illness a week after he arrived at the hospital.
I said, “You know Tom, I’ll be fine, the kids will be fine. I’ll make sure they know everything you want them to know, everything you’ve taught me over the years, I promise to know it all.”

Kelsey said she thought Tom knew he was nearing the end of his life, but he still had a “battle” inside him.
In September 2021, 11 months after his diagnosis, Tom sang at the Stand Up 2 Cancer show at the Royal Albert Hall and even embarked on a Greatest Hits tour with his teammates when the tumor was confirmed to be “stable” in November.
But Tom’s condition quickly deteriorated when the tour ended earlier this year.
The tragic news of his death was confirmed by Kelsey, whom he has left behind with their two children, Aurelia, two and Bodhi, one.
Kelsey and Tom were last seen in public together at London 02 Arena on March 15, where Tom appeared with his teammates in The Wanted, Max George, 33, Jay McGuinness, 31, Siva Kaneswaran, 33, and 29-year-old Nathan Sykes.
“We are truly grateful for the outpouring of love and support and we ask that we all come together to ensure that Tom’s light continues to shine on his beautiful children,” said Tom’s wife, Kelsey, after his death.
She was spotted kissing him tenderly on the head before going up on stage with his team.
Kelsey said she was “so proud” that Tom chose to go on tour again, but said she noticed something different about him after that show, exhausting it at first.
He said he went “downhill” from there and wanted to go to the hostel while Kelsey would prefer to stay home.
Kelsey claims that Tom did not want to bother his loved ones any more, so he chose to seek medical help.
The day he died, Kelsey said the music in his room was not turned off, describing it as his “life” and “passion”.

She said she had told Tom to give her signs after she died and went to sit outside and cry after she passed, to look up and see a feather fall from the sky.
Kelsey went on to say that she was honest with her children about everything that happened, but found herself telling them that their father had died extremely “cruel”.

Kelsey concluded by insisting that she would continue to look for the positives in life and be vigilant for signs from Tom.

In the last photo posted on his Instagram account before his death, Parker shared this snapshot on stage with his teammates.
After his death last month, Kelsey said in a statement: “It is with a heavy heart that we confirm that Tom died peacefully earlier today, with his entire family at his side.
“Our hearts are broken. Tom was the center of our world and we can not imagine life without his infectious smile and active presence.

He continued by thanking all those who cared for Tom during his illness, adding that he fought the illness to the end.
