Just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Winnipeg police said a train hit a vehicle near Bairdmore Avenue in Letellier Crossing.

A train has struck a vehicle near Bairdmore Blvd at Letellier Crossing. 2 people from the vehicle were transported to the hospital. A Winnipeg city spokesman said two people inside the vehicle had been released and taken to hospital in an unstable condition. Roads were closed in the area as police and CN investigated. Police said drivers would have to wait for traffic jams.
